Claire Jayne builds Marie Curie an 18ft Balloon Daffodil

Bristol Balloon Fiesta 2009 saw Claire Jayne help Marie Curie raise awareness to the public by building an 18ft Daffodil from thousands of balloons.

The balloon sculpture was donated by us to Marie Curie. We felt it was a worthwhile cause and one close to our hearts as my father had died from Cancer.

The sculpture was admired by thousands over the weekend, and on Saturday evening we even flood lit it for the night glow.

Marie Curie were very pleased with the attention the balloon sculpture received. It became a prominent feature on the skyline at the Fiesta.

Their Regional Corporate Development Manager Penny Reeves, based at their Bristol office was present at the Balloon Fiesta. She was very pleased with the Sculpture and has already started to plan other events where we can help raise awareness.
